The tide breaks, sea defences and discarded objects
along the English coastline demand a second look. Each visit is a rich and unique
experience of tide cycle, weather and time of day. The motion of the sea, salted
air and time all act together to change surfaces; rusting metal, carving wood
or frosting glass. All of the locations are places that we have visited for more
than 15 years, popular only with knowledgeable locals (and their dogs)
and visitors with an almost addictive need to see, hear and feel the sea. |
