In wooded areas, nature is constantly working
to reclaim its altered or lost elements. Fallen, cut or storm damaged trees are
gradually re-colonised by wildlife, invasive ivy, Fungus and other matter, demonstrating
that wooded areas are in a constant state of change.
These photographs were taken in Sydenham Hill and Dulwich Woods in South London,
close to where I live. Changing seasons and weather conditions mean that no two
visits are ever the same, producing new opportunities for interesting image-making
every time I visit. |
